What others say about
Golden Eagle
Absolutely wonderful,
Spectacular! (After a flightseeing trip and bush landing in the Mt.
Moffitt/Mt. Hayes area of the Alaska Range)
Leonard Sorenson, 82 Littleton, CO
Glacier treks, meadow walks, and
cathedral mountains captivated my spirit in these elegant
surroundings. I loved these activities and was surprised at how few
people were here compared to Denali….and the scenery was just as
spectacular! Michael Kingston,
AK, photographer My
flightseeing trip with Golden Eagle Outfitters was one of the
highlights of our trip to Alaska.
Jeremy Keaster, Russellville, AR
I had the special opportunity to spend eight terrific days on
Johnson glacier. The photography opportunities are unparalleled. The
hiking is comparable to none. By day, on the glacier, we hiked,
photographed, ate, explored, talked, laughed, and hiked some more.
By night on the lateral moraine we camped and ate around a small
warming fire, rehashed the day’s adventures and hit the sack early
looking forward to another big day. I thank the Cummings and Golden
Eagle Outfitters for their attention to my needs, comfort and
safety. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again.

As a professional wildlife biologist with 30 years experience in
Alaska, I have flown with numerous air taxi operators in Alaska and
can state that Golden Eagle Outfitters is a first-class operation
that provides outstanding service in their flying business. They are
life-long Alaskans, know their area of operation thoroughly, safety
is their first priority, they maintain their aircraft well, and they
provide excellent customer service.
In my experience, Alaska Wilderness Expeditions provides outstanding
wilderness expeditions based out of Delta Junction, Alaska. This is
an area that provides under appreciated but outstanding wilderness
opportunities. Their priority is customer safety and satisfaction.
Float trips on the remote upper Salcha and Goodpaster Rivers are
excellent for family trips with wilderness floating in Class 1 and 2
rivers, outstanding grayling fishing, and wildlife viewing. Their
wilderness hiking expeditions into the eastern Alaska Range provides
a true wilderness hiking experience near the base of major peaks in
the Alaska Range, glacier hiking, and wildlife viewing for species
such as moose, caribou, grizzly bears, wolves, and birds using
alpine habitats. Steve DuBois,
AK The majesty of the
mountains and the mystery of the glacier made for an incredible
trip, but the beautiful alpine flowers added to the experience
making it exceptional. One sheltered meadow had at least a dozen
different species in bloom - was simply breathtaking.
